Growth

    April has been true to its reputation and provided the inhabitants of Earth a front row seat to witness the unfolding beauty of nature. All of our senses can be used to observe this natural phenomenon. Without any actions on our part, nature does what is in rhythm with the cycles of life and offers us the opportunity to simply sit back, observe, and enjoy. There is so very much we can learn from nature, if we only “pay attention.” Perhaps all the busyness, hurry, scurry, and self-inflicted pressures we put on ourselves and others would be lightened if we simply saw nature as a powerful Teacher. Whatever is brewing in our heads will come to fruition with ease and a bit of effort on our part if we simply notice the manner in which nature unfolds. In other words, lovingly quiet that chattering head mind and listen more to the rhythm of nature as it offers a simple, peaceful way to allow life to unfold. This is how the world changes and true Growth occurs; one peaceful warrior at a time!

• The Playful Soul is offering an open event this Saturday, April 6, from 1-3 p.m. Practitioners will be offering their gifts at a reduced rate, local authors will be present to share their stories as to how their books were inspired, along with a variety of goods and services that are available at The Playful Soul. • You would have to live under a rock to not be aware of the Eclipse on Monday, April 8 but did you know it is also a New moon that evening? Two very powerful energies that offer anyone paying attention the opportunity to use that energy to catapult their personal Growth. It is a gift from the heavens (Sky nation) to the "earthlings" on Earth Mother; it is yours to receive, just remember to gift back something. Perhaps by celebrating Earth Day?
• Dancing Flame Medicine Lodge is hosting two more opportunities to learn how to Use the Mandala as a Compass in order to "Find our True North." Saturday, April 20 or Saturday June 15,  are the two dates from which to choose. This retreat is designed to offer a simple way to strengthen the four core areas of a human's life. Read more about it on the Community Events tab of our website.
• Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m.  Dr. Joe Dispensa will offer a very powerful "Walk for the World," event. This event is free, all you need to do is go to his website, sign up and download, "Walk for the World," This will be the third time this event has occurred and I can attest to the depth of love and connection this walking meditation offers. I will once again participate and invite anyone interested to join me on this soulful walk. 
• Earth Day, April 22. What a wonderful opportunity to pause your life for a few moments to show gratitude for all the gifts this beautiful planet offers us every single day. If you have children, or grandchildren, what a wonderful way to draw attention from the world of electronics and invite them to take a walk at a nearby park. Afterall, they are the ones who will inherit this world, how better to ensure they learn to notice and appreciate the beauty of nature.
